Hi, I'm George, manager of Solo Plumbing Services and a Master Plumber with LP-Gas and Medical Gas Piping endorsements. I have lived in Texas with my family for the past 27 years.

I began my plumbing career in 1984 when I stumbled upon the opportunity to work as a plumber's assistant. It was by chance that my neighbor, who was a Senior Plumber/Pipefitter, offered me the job. I still recall being paid almost $10 an hour, which was a substantial amount for a young person back then.

Plumbing came naturally, so I pursued it and went to school. Over time, I developed a passion for it and improved my skills.

My boss taught me that one should never claim to know everything since things are constantly changing. He taught me to take pride in my work, constantly learn, and improve.

I still have a deep passion for my profession and am grateful to GOD for allowing me to have a career where I can help others. It also provides me with a stable income, allowing me to have a roof over my head and food on the table.

We provide a complimentary quick assessment for local areas and a free phone consultation to discuss your needs.  

Additionally, you have the option to send us pictures or videos for a more accurate evaluation of the required services. 

However, for properties located more than thirty minutes away, there is a charge for our basic assessment.  Furthermore, a transportation fee will be included based on the distance we need to travel to reach your property. In summary, the cost of our services varies depending on the distance of each property.


Kindly note that we only provide pricing details in a formal quote or estimate, which will be sent to you via email. Prices will not be given over the phone.


An estimate provides our approximation of the cost of a project. 

IT IS NOT A FIXED PRICE. 

Estimates are given when the nature or scope of work may be uncertain due to concealed conditions, difficulty in assessing problems to be encountered or resolved, or difficulty in determining the best means or methods to accomplish the work.

Yes!

Although we provide services beyond plumbing, including framing, carpentry, electrical, masonry, or concrete work, please be aware that we are not licensed or insured for work outside the scope of plumbing. 


Therefore, we may need to hire a licensed or insured subcontractor to complete tasks beyond our scope. Additional services are not included unless specified in the estimate. When taking on certain projects like building a water heater enclosure or base, it's important to consider hiring outside help. 

A licensed electrician may be required for certain water heater installations or other electrical and wiring tasks, such as installing a backup generator of 12kW or higher, roof framing, roof vent installation, wall and ceiling repairs, fire caulking, concrete work, and soil tamping, etc.


Required inspections and Permits for the plumbing work will be an additional charge and will be provided and scheduled by Solo Plumbing Services. 

I am most easily reachable between 6 pm and 8 pm, as my days are filled with serving my customers. This often includes physically demanding tasks like working underneath buildings, repairing water or gas leaks, relocating heavy water heaters to lofts,  holding crucial meetings with other contractors or clients... 

Therefore, my availability during the day is quite limited.
